Visit with Auntie Lori Tonne May30- June 5 2015

Auntie Lori Tonne came and visited us May 30th through Friday June 5th.

We had a great visit with Aunt Lori! Full of fun little adventures. First we went and saw the Little Bighorn Battlefield Sunday after Church. Nic had to go into the office to finish some work Sunday and the Park is just down the road from the mine. So we went and checked out the monument while Nic worked. It was pretty awesome...a ton of rich history. The Crow tribe puts on a small bus tour and gives you a lot of the history. It was awesome learning more about the Battle and Custards last stand. Thorsten did really well for being 2 1/2. We only had one melt down towards the end of the day. We even saw some wild horses. It was really neat.

Aunt Lori spent some one on one time with Thorsten on Monday while mom coached some Gymnastics....and she helped mom organize some of our storage. Still unpacking and putting things away since moving in.

Wednesday morning we left bright and early and spent all day in Yellowstone Park. We were able to show Aunt Lori majority of the park. We had a great day. On the way into the park we went through the North East Gate and Aunt Lori got a little car sick with the windy roads. It was beautiful though. It was a gorgeous day and we were able to see majority of the falls, lots of animals (and there babies), Geysers, and of course Old faithful. Thorsten was wonderful, he was very good, and took a nap in the car and everything. On the way home we had a little bit of a stressful drive. Mom forgot to get gas in Livingston and we were lucky that a pump was open in one of the small podunk towns or we would have run out of gas. We didn't get home tell a little after midnight.

On Thursday we tried to go check out the pictograph caves on the edge of town. But they were closed because they had had some land sliding in the winter, they were still trying to clean up. Overall it was great to have Aunt Lori over for a visit. We had a lot of time to visit and talk about things. She really helped mom get some more organizing done.

Thorsten had alot of fun with Aunt Lori playing games. She taught him and hand over hand. And it was so cute he called her "Aunt Ori" all week!

We love our Auntie Lori!!
